A month after the election, Washington will be buzzing. A new administration, a new congress and a whole new political reality will be settling over the nation's capital. Conference attendees will be in the center of it all at one the city's most famed addresses, The Mayflower Hotel.
The Mayflower is a proud member of Historic Hotels of America. A recent $11 million luxury restoration project revived spacious meeting rooms and elegantly appointed ballrooms. The Mayflower is in close proximity to monuments, neighborhood restaurants and fabulous shopping in Dupont Circle, and the White House. This exceptional hotel enjoys a central location near national attractions and easy access to three metro subway lines.
Rooms at the host hotel, The Mayflower, are still available -- as are rooms at the nearby Beacon Hotel.
Other hotels in the area include:
Loews Madison Hotel (3 blocks)
Marriott Courtyard (2 blocks)
Palomar Hotel (Kimpton)
For those attendees flying into DC, there are three airports located within an hour of the district. Reagan National (DCA) is the closest and is located on the green and yellow Metro lines. Dulles airport (IAD) is located about a 40 minute drive from the city in Virginia and is the major international hub into DC. The Baltimore/Washington airport (BWI) is about an hour's drive from DC in Maryland and is accessible via Amtrak, commuter rail or bus lines.
